Honda Wave 110i 2016 Model - Acceptable Fuels

Featured Replies

I've got a Honda Wave 110i (2016 Model). I normally run it on 91. Will it run OK on E20?

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Did you have a look in your owner's manual?

My Wave from 2019 runs on E20, but that's indicated in the owner's manual.

All the Honda's with fuel injection will run on E20/91/95.

But when fuel prices are all nearly the same use 95 'cos it goes 20% further than E20.

Thanks but I've misplaced the owner manual. Doh!!

3.33% further, not 20%.

With the current gas prices 91 is very slightly cheaper than E20 (if taking the energy content into account, ethanol has less than gasoline), so you can just stick with 91.

The owners manual has been found. Mrs MD had put it somewhere "safe".

Picture only says 91 & 95.

43.85 baht/litre for gasohol 95, 43.58 baht/litre for gasohol 91 and 42.74 baht/litre for gasohol E20.

I only use 95 at the moment, anything else is silly.

The orange circle says 95, E10/E20, and the green circle says 91, E10.

So you can put in E20 with at least 95 octane. E20 has over 100 octane anyway, so you can use E20

But as I wrote in my previous post, with the current gas prices 91 is slightly cheaper than E20, so just stick with 91.

Just to be clear: I can use any of the 3 fuels that the arrows point to?
