Has anyone changed a Tourist Visa (60 day) to a 1 year non O retirement

Many. If you meet the requirements, it can be done. Why not post this in the visa section though?

I did once, a dozen+ years ago.  But you first convert to a simple Non-0 and, during the last 45 days of that (last 30 days in some provinces), you can apply for the annual extension based on retirement.  I'm not sure what your real question is but you can likely search this site for many threads about converting to a Non-O from both a Tourist Visa and an exempt entry.

Use TM86, ‘change of visa’ form. Must be done with a minimum of 15 days left on your tourist visa. 2000 baht.
