Officials have launched a new public relations campaign in an effort to boost safety and confidence among tourists visiting Prachuap Khiri Khan.

On Thursday (June 2) Mr. Sathien Charoenruen, Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province presided over the launch of the campaign, which has been organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Prachuap Khiri Khan office and the Tourist Police.

The campaign will see signs, which include safety tips for tourists in both English and Thai languages, displayed at various locations throughout the province’s eight districts.

The campaign was launched to coincide with Prachuap Khiri Khan being reclassified as a ‘blue zone’ province.

Apply brakes to your wheelchairs when the bar is in motion?

The tourists very likely have a good sense of personal safety....train the Thai drivers, street workers and contractors...the pit falls are Thai related.

Don't tell tourists they must use zebra crossings...that'll kill them. Tell tourists not to ride bicycles, the drivers will kill them. Tell tourist not to argue with Thais, a gun may be drawn!

Agreed. I strongly recommend that all tourists avoid prachuap kirikhan province in general, and Pranburi district in particular. ????
