Total rubbish. Thai folks are wizards at smartphone use, have been for quite a few years. Look around you'll see many older/much older folks regularly using their phones with ease.

Okay until you lose/break your card! Or someone skims it. ☹️☹️

But you could never lose your cash?

Do you have a card to get your beloved cash from the ATM? Maybe that card breaks or is stolen/lost?

Bottom line - there's negatives about any system. Why not go with the convenience of a card.

Why the way, are you aware that some (maybe all) banks offer cardless ATM transactions. And in some countries you can report a lost/broken/stolen Credit/ Debit /ATM card at any ATM/any bank?
