E-jan reported from the north east of Thailand where a well known farm owner has paid a 3.9 million baht dowry for a male buffalo.

In a ceremony with some trappings of a wedding "Jao Bunterm" aged 22 months was handed over to Suphachai Winitphol, or Sia Noi, the owner of Hiso Farm in Korat.

The procession for luck started in Khok Sawang village and ended up at Piam Chai Farm in Khon Kaen.

The dowry was in great wads of 1,000 baht notes tied in purple ribbon an an ornamental golden tray.

Sia Noi explained that Bunterm was worth every baht as he was a load of lovely bull.

He has big legs and great features and comes from a good family.

He'll make great breeding stock.

Would have thought a big '****' would have been more useful ?

No accounting for taste, some like them 2 legged some on 4, go figure... at least if the animal was a she buffalo...

Pity your poor goat ????

I wonder if the 'Would You?' was slipped in by Rooster especially for the 'I would' brigade?

As long as it came in sexy suspenders and stockings I'm all in at that price lol ????????????????

The usual mockers are out and about.
Check the prices paid for stud bulls, dogs etc. in places like Oz and the US.
Even for a small vial/straw of sperm from some of them is obscenely expensive.

Does it take it up the bum?

If you ask it nicely I'm sure it would oblige. ????

Only in Thailääääännnnnn ............... must have a helluva set of "great features" then ????

Unless, of course, the farmer managed to get one of the very rare Katoey-species from beach road. Worth every penny as they return on Songkran with lots of (Indian) gold ..... I hear ........

Check out Oz.'s farmers wages and their Cessna planes against a Thais and running a Ute.

To rip off gullible grooms?

I thought same-sex marriage was ruled unconstitutional in Thailand.
