I went to refill Lispril today for hypertension.....

None of the pharmacies we visited had it in stock + indicated it was not available from suppliers....The stock apparently ran out 2 months ago....The pharmacists indicated that many expats are looking for it....

Has anyone else run into this?

Has anyone found an available/reliable supply - or an alternative?

I did not check under the Zestril name....

Any helpful advice would be appreciated....

Bought 20mg there about a month ago. 10mg should not be a problem. They did stop making 20 mg. It's the one that's hard to find now.

I'm skeptical.

Maybe they just had a big supply of old stock.

The info I have in Pattaya is that suppliers aren't even accepting orders for any brand name of this med.

A problem with a raw material needed to manufacture.

Boots told me it will be December at this earliest. 

Many people are using Enalapril now instead.

Enalapril dosing is different. 

10 mg. Lisinopril equals 5 mg  Enalapril. 

Anapril generic is very very cheap.

My local Pharmachoice pharmacy just told me that the factory now has Lispril 20mg available again and they will order for me. They probably have 10mg also, if ordered from the factory

Peera Pharmacy, the 5mg is in stock and has been. The owner stated both 10mg and 20mg are on order and arriving soon. 

 

I bought the Lispriil 20 mg an hour ago from Peera.

I just one box of 20mg just this week….good to know so I better stock up for my upcoming overseas trip
