Are you claiming that ALL the selves in the supermarket were empty ?

Yes, not all supermarkets are full stocked at all times , but it would nt be too difficult to walk around supermarkets to find some empty shelves at certain times of the day , supermarkets often refill their shelves at night

Think he was after toilet rolls, strange things happen to toilet rolls in Tesco..............:omfg:

  • This is what 'we' voted for. This is what 'we' wanted. No point in getting upset, then.

  • UK citizens can now only stay in EU countries for 90 days in a 180 day period. So EU immigration has to check each passport to see how many days left. Plus passports must be valid for at least 6 month

It's about internal security:    "As a third country, the UK has lost access to the Schengen Information System (SIS II) and will not be a member of Europol." https://lordslibrary.parli

You don't take rejection too well, do you

Not sure I handle it better or worse than others but one thing I can't stand is idiocy.

So, we are a Country full who are a majority of "idiots"

Why do you want us back in the E.U ?

Surely you wouldn't want "idiots" in your Club ?

You really should stop attempting to gaslight the readers here. There are most certainly empty shelves and shortages of goods in the supermarkets.

Would you like picture proof or are you still living in Brexit fantasy?

While all the time the EU remains a stronghold of happy stability.

I have patiently and clearly tried to explain to you that one incredible act of idiocy doesn't make an idiot but I guess there's no point.

Anyway, the public opinion in the UK is clearly shifting and you'll be back in the fold whenever France and other countries decide you've suffered enough.

That might take some time though.????

Having to walk around to different supermarkets to find the stuff you want to buy.

A real Brexit bonus.

The French seem to being doing it out of spite .

Deliberately being understaffed at the PP control booths to cause delays , punishing Brits for leaving the E.U

And I, for one, don't blame them one bit.

Again: They are not real. Who mentioned Russians, do you know something I don't, or do you have something against them?

Dover queues may or may not be there tomorrow, but it's blinding obvious they were created by the French. They are well known for spitefully and regularly disrupting British holidays.

Why would the French deliberately create the queues?

You didn't understand my post .

I said you could walk around numerous supermarkets to find some EMPTY shelves to take photos of , I didn't suggest that you would need to walk around various supermarkets to find full shelves

Spite.

No, don't answer that..............

Why not try an intelligent reasoned debate, as opposed to playground style insults?

Not even one of you have come up with any facts of figures.

Yes, because you are also still broken hearted and upset because we left and you want to get your revenge on being rejected  by causing delays for travellers .

That is the typical E.U attitude and that is what caused delays in us leaving

But we are not queuing for hours at Passport Control. There are 66 million of us still here in the UK, beginning to enjoy the fruits of freedom from the EU. If a few europhiles are so desperate to all leave for France at the same time, more fool them. They should know what the French are like, especially at their holiday time too. Are there any air traffic control strike planned next month?

In the whole scheme of Brexit a few hours delay at Dover is nothing important. We don't care.

"......beginning to enjoy the fruits of freedom from the EU."

Could you describe these elusive fruits for us?

This is just stubborn stupidness buy authorities (governments)...

If no passport checks were necessary before, none are now - the only change is that humans have ‘put in a rule’.....

... ‘operate under a bilateral free-travel agreement - no EU passport checks in the UK, if no UK passport checks in the EU’...  this could be simple if it weren’t for stubborn tools in positions of decision making power (on both sides).

should told that to Boris before he left, thanks to his stupidness/stubborness/mulish actions now here is the result.... more to come 555

Well, it's not a question of examining passports. Rather it's about the level of scrutiny. The UK is no longer privy to the EU internal security system and vice-versa. So it takes longer to examine UK passports.

this is payback time.... my nephew (he's a Gendarme) from France was held at Heathrow for about 2 hours for a passport check, it appeared the numbers were not visible as he had too many stamps on same pages....
