Arriving in Pattaya on 31st, need a good hotel for 7 days, just to cover immigration,  looking at MYTT beach hotel, any good?

Thanks

It is part of the A-One group on Soi 3. About 100 yards turning right outside the hotel is an old style beer bar complex. Further towards 2nd Rd is Melodies Bar.

Read online reviews for the hotel. My understanding is it is heavily discounted just now before high season comes.

Well, it sure looks nice and the location is good.  The only possible problem with any of the hotels near Beach Road is the noise from bands or bars.  If that bothers you, ask for a quiet room.

Ah I thought  it was near Soi 7

And I am certain that Soi 3 is a quiet stretch. Not only now but in general.

No way to be compared with Soi 7/8 or so (which are also half dead, slowly awaking).

Never noticed, not even the name. Looks fancy/stylish/modern.

Beach view room is a must.

Junior suite with beach view about 8000.

Wonder what the non discounted prices are

On booking.com the statements about the view are quite vague. You might pay near 5000 for a garden view?

How does this compare to the Hilton?

Yes, that area isn't noisy.  Mostly other hotels such as Mercure, Pattaya International hospital, and a few condos.

Not on the beachfront either, though you can see the sea from the higher rooms.

reading some of the responses with prices, are you sure it's not the Hyatt ######

Nope, its Mytt Beach Hotel, around 2400THB including breakfast.

That looks like a very good price for a very good hotel. I would go for it if I were you.

2 minute walk to Beach Road you can get a Baht bus to Central Festival Mall or Walking St or Sois 6, 7 & 8. Loads of decent restaurants in easy reach too. Motorcycle taxis at the end of the Soi can take you further afield: Soi Buakaow for example for about 60 Baht.

Thanks, Just booked it for 8 Nights then look for something else!

BTW: Grab is the popular ride sharing app there?

Cheers.
