Could have gone direct to Bangkok Hospital Rayong, 15km closer.

not sure why your butthurt on my insurance status, I now many who seek treatment at Bangkok hospital Pattaya and pay out of pocket because they prefer to self insure.

Have you ever been in a situation where a person who you are with is possibly dying in front of your eyes and a hospital is refusing to treat them ?

You keep harping on about refusal to treat.

Which hospital other than the 10 public ones that could not treat due to (I assume) lack of equipment refused to treat this girl ?

Your playing whataboutary on a thread like this while the poor girl has suffered 80% burns. Her friend could well have played a part in saving her life.

But why not go the full hog and just say had she not visited an illegal club she would still be alive.

Shameless

To be fair, if the place closed at midnight (as legally required to do so).... This thread would not exist !!

Since when does a club fire adhere to a past midnight inferno. If you really want to be fair the club was open illegally at all times. That however is just more whataboutary and not exactly a comment that will help the victim for the rest of her life

Its a very simple concept.

closing time is 12am.

Fire started at 1am.

Am sure you can figure it out.

I’m aware of what time it started but that was hardly my point now was it. Whether it was 1am or 10pm a fire does not care, the club was illegal 24/7 and agin that is pure deflection from your shameless attitude to the girls welfare.

Why are you only concerned with this one girls welfare, you ignoring the rest that were also badly injured speaks volumes as to they type of person you are.

actually my concern was your attitude and whataboutary, you may want to check my previous posts on the other threads on this fire and the victims. This one is about one victim in particular who will live the rest of her life scarred and no doubt facing years of corrective surgery.

The public hospitals are very basic , they do not have the means to treat people (80-90% burns) with such bad injuries .

Proof? Evidence? Of the 10 we are speaking of or just speculation? Also yet another good argument for having medical insurance. Especially in a country like Thailand.

Yeah plenty of flip floppery in this thread. The result would be the same basically world wide. Even if you were treated in a private hospital they would stabilise you then kick you the <deleted> out. Simple. Cruel? Yes. Unjust? Maybe. True? 100%

Having attended a few local public hospitals and seen that can do just the basic treatment , although the bigger public hospitals can offer a bit more than the smaller ones

Some people were complaining that she even got treated in a private hospital , they seemed to be suggesting that she should have been left outside in the car park in agony and left to die

Oh back to the car park ????????????????????. More unsubstantiated nonsense. She was in a hospital and moved to another one. She was never left in a <deleted> car park. End of.

Only in an emergency would treatment be free for a foreigner. The notion that they'll treat any foreigners chilblains for free is patently false.

Really? Since they were able to come up with the required money (50,000 baht deposit) I do not understand anyone having an issue with her treatment.
