Even if there were it would be off topic deflection here. What about Trump Jr's coke habit? Maybe that's why they kept the documents?

Nah, he's more a crack and parmesan kind of idiot.

Where did Trump get handed those documents? At McDonalds? Or in the Oval Office?

The President's job is not in the White House or the Oval Office. The President's job is wherever the President happens to be.

When the President is on Air Force One, that's where his job is. When he's on Marine 2, that's where his job is. When he's in Asia to meet with Kim Jong Un, that's where the job is.

When Obama spent a lot of time on golf courses, that's where the job was. When Trump spent even more time on golf courses, that's where the job was.

And when President Trump was spending considerable time at Mar-a-Lago instead of the White House, that's where the job was!

The point is, it doesn't matter where he was when he was handed those documents. Because wherever he was........... that's where the job was!

The Presidency is absolutely  NOT a 9-to-5 Office Job! The President's "Office"......... is wherever the President happens to be!

You make all sorts of assumptions, continue to do so, and refuse to acknowledge any your assumptions as such.  I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on the definition of nonsense.

No, you have in this thread clearly showed us what the very definition of nonsense is.

Correct, far from 9 to 5, Trump wouldn't have been able to do that 5 days a week.

Here are a couple of quotes from this far, far leftist leaning article:

“The reason this smells so bad is that there is all sorts of evidence he did not receive this on the merits.”

What?!?!?!?!?!  When the exact same point was made about Hunter's merits for gaining his lucrative position at Burisma the left made never ending implausible excuses.  And now they're turning the tables thinking we're brain dead idiots with faulty memories?

"Back in April, The New York Times reported that Jared Kushner’s four years of Saudi ass-kissing and murder-excusing had paid off in the form of a $2 billion investment from the kingdom‘s sovereign wealth fund to his newly formed private equity firm."

ozimoron, tell me that it's not true that you suck up every word this far left leaning liberal writes as gospel?  The above is the first sentence of the first paragraph in the article.  And you expect objectivity from this writer?  Worse, you expect me to treat this as a serious, objective piece of faux journalism?

Put up some proof, not just a leftist hit job.

But when he is no longer POTUS, his job is NOT to retain TS and TS/SCI docs. In fact, few of the docs in the inventory list at MaL would be relevant to anything he did day to day, and that is if he actually did any work, rather than call into Fox or play golf. POTUSs spend precious .little time dealing with highly classified matters; that is left to CIA/NSA/DNI and he is merely briefed---if he chooses to be briefed---via the PDB.

You're really stretching. You are making assumptions about something you know little or nothing. POTUSs spend almost all their time on domestic policy issues. Getting even a good POTUS to focus on classified stuff-unless it is related to a direct and current threat assessment---is not easy.

Jail him.

Exactly, if what Trump did is do damning and critical to the security of the USA why hasn't Trump already been charged? Unless of course they (FBI) doesn't have enough to charge him.

It is called building a case, you guys believe that can just be done overnight.  Establishing the elements of the crimes and then securing the evidence that lays out each one does take time.  If it was done as you think, well then due process would be far from the truth.

In addition to those emails, the other 31,830 that she deemed "personal" that she deleted so they could not be examined by the authorities should not be forgotten.

Oh, are we talking about Hillary again??:clap2:

Better ask the poster who started it, I just responded to his comment, but, what if we are?

So the loaded words are your reason to dismiss the fact that its true?

Top secret, they’ve not been declassified.

How would you know that?

But most every leftist here has been saying regarding the negotiations Trump was having that it's all cut and dried.  What's there to negotiate?  Trump retained classified documents which he was not legally allowed to have.  Period.  End of story.  If that's true then they have enough hard evidence to arrest him this very moment.

Isn't it typical for law enforcement to make arrests as soon they have the smoking gun?  What more would they be waiting for?

Might be because they are TOP SECRET

Being Top Secret doesn't mean that an indication of the contents without disclosing secret details can't be given.

So based upon what is known, not speculated about or dreamed off by certain members, if it turns out that there were some documents Trump should not have had in his possession and the DoJ considers that there is sufficient evidence to move forward with an intended prosecution, how long would the more learned colleagues on this forum suggest it would take to reach the first judicial hearing ?
