Featured Replies

Hi everybody this is my problem I went to buy my Thai wife's  flights back to Thailand at the travel agents today and we discover my wife only has 5 months left on her Thai passport the travel agent says she must have 6 months on her passport to be allowed to fly but   every time the travel agent check for info she was using gov .Uk  and that only talks about British passports my wife's passport is a Thai passport can she fly. The flight are Inverness to London Heathrow to Doha to Bangkok the first part is with British airways and the rest is with Qatar Airways .

All Thai nationals are allowed to enter Thailand, even with an expired Thai PP.

Yes, she can return any time. Go to a knowledgeable agent or buy the ticket yourself, online.

Wrong as others posted.

This agent is more than incompetent.

As far as I remember the six month rule has been dropped even for other nationals. Would have to check again ...

Better to just book the ticket directly with the airlines. I have done so for at least 10 years now. Usually the same money or less. Travel agents are a thing of the past it would seem.

And for good reason with information like that.

She can travel back to Thailand with her current passport.
