Small children are most susceptible as they tend to put things in their mouths. He said that about 100 cases have been found in India so far, but no deaths. nahkit Posted August 29, 2022 Posted August 29, 2022 "The newest of these is called “tomato flu,” and has affected over 100 children in India, according to a recent correspondence in The LancetTrusted Source." The population of India as of 2020 was 1.38 billion! "The authors report that tomato flu, likely a viral disease, was first identified in the Kollam district of Kerala, India on May 6, 2022." So in a period of 3 months plus, that works out at just over 1 a day. "According to The Lancet, the disease is considered non-life-threatening and resolves on its own in time." Thailand "does not regard the disease as a matter of domestic concern." What a complete non-story. 1 1
