In this business,  it is not unusual at all to have different underwriters for different parts of your business, to switch underwriters often, to sell your business,  and to not be too open about it.

Looked at the website, no details of policy cover or costs. How much would cover cost for a 70 year old?

I took a policy with them for Usd 100k at 74 years old. Costs me GBP 211 per month.  had it for 8 months but cannot determine whether pre exists are now covered as announced by WR last month.

I expect the online quote is just indicative, based on age.  Actual quotes no doubt depend on the individual's particular circumstances.
