Wife attacked by knife and acid wielding ex after she gets a neighbor to help with a new bed

Sanook Thai Cap: Ex husband jealous about 56 year old wife

 

Sanook reported on a serious incident in a house in Ban Sai Yong Neua in Krasang sub-district of Buriram NE Thailand just after midday Sunday. 

 

Muang district police found Khiaw, 56 with a gaping head wound and evidence of an acid attack on her clothes.

 

On the way to hospital she was able to give evidence that the person responsible was her ex husband called Jaras or Num, 47. 

 

She said they had had a ten year relationship but split up two months ago. 

 

She said she had got a neighbor in to help her with making a new bed as the old one was broken.

 

But Num rushed in and confronted them for having an affair. 

 

Not thinking anything would happen the kindly neighbor stood back as the ex husband dragged her outside.

 

Where he hit her once with an Itoh knife around the head and then poured what appeared to be acid on her face and clothes. 

 

He fled the scene but was later arrested and admitted everything. 

 

He said he believed his wife was brazenly carrying on with the neighbor. 

 

He was arrested at his mother's place in Lam Plai Mat district.
