I received no notification that this would happen and nothing on this subforum about it, so was I just hacked?

Second time in 1 hour. Is this a bad joke?

 

I am assuming you used the search engine ?

Bots use those to perform attacks on wrbsites, its a very neccesary security step in place on many websites.

First time happened to me and I didn't use a search engine. I was already logged on when it happened.

The security check comes up when you use the search function on the forum that is at the top of this page. 

It can also come up when logging into the forum.

If your IP address is flagged it it can deny access to the site.

Thanks for that, so at least I can assume I wasn't hacked.

However, never seen it before and didn't do anything different today. I was already logged on, and never went near the search function.

Obviously my IP address isn't flagged.

Software glitch perhaps?
