just a bit of nonsense from this linked article:

Jaroen later presented and surrendered himself to police. He told us that he stabbed the wrong person. He said he thought that Mr. Jaroen was an unidentified person that he had an issue with before and apologized for stabbing and killing an innocent person. However the prosecution and investigation continues.” Colonel Sarawut added."

Oh is it that so many people here think (yes, had time to think about it) that violence all the way to killing is their preferred recourse in dealing with conflicts, even minor ones?

Examine the culture, examine customs, examine traditions, examine institutions, and change something.....

Methinks perhaps the author of the article may have been overindulging on "Wacky Baccy" prior to writing???

Yes, you're missing the fact that a name was transposed.

"He said he thought that Mr. Jaroen was an unidentified person that he had an issue with before''

So he was angry enough to stab the guy but didn't notice that the guy he was stabbing wasn't them?

I presume, it's not that big a problem, he already apologized...:whistling:

He said he thought that Mr. Jaroen was an unidentified person that he had an issue with before and apologized for stabbing and killing an innocent person.

"...Mr. Pan, 35, a graphic designer, who stabbed Mr. Jaroen Penngern, 49, a food seller to death.”

“Jaroen later presented and surrendered himself to police."

So...The man.who was stabbed to death later presented and surrendered himself  to police.

Unusual.
