Yes, it has changed immensely--one could have a good laugh back in the day (the likes of chonabot and ravisher)--and it is heavily moderated, but it is what is it. Still a good, up to date source for news, visas, travel, housing etc, and there are still are some excellent threads being churned out. Can't fault a thing about the place (well, the imaginary place). I'm grateful that someone else is moderating and paying for the server so that I can have a few laughs and get some useful info -and maybe even provide some in return. Because karma is a boomerang. When I first got here, I got a ton of likes on my posts and that has fallen off down to nil. You're hot, then you're not. It seems that overall, most posts get less reaction these days. I'm grateful for all the great characters here, and count myself lucky to have met a couple of them. When you speak of a statistical sample, and, especially, when you italicise the word "statistical", one wonders what you mean. Statistically speaking,.. Would you please report to us your statisticical analysis? Such a thing is easier said than done. How much do you know about proving validity, statistically speaking? Please just strut your statistical stuff, and show us that you know how to use statistics to arrive at a valid conclusion, based on your data.
