Just to let you know that tomorrow's full moon is called The BEAVER BLOOD Moon, and will feature a total lunar eclipse around 7pm to 8.30.

Correct, but do we need a third thread about it ????

One started a few days ago. One today.

In the news.

And if the sky is cloudy like in Pattaya yesterday it will be a poor event.

Today also mixed clouds.

Long ago as an apprentice we had to do a 3-minute talk on a subject which had been chosen by other apprentices. We had 30 minutes preparation time (close to zero when the internet hadn't been invented yet).

 

I got "breeding porcupines"!!

 

I don't remember exactly what I said (it was long ago), but I actually won a prize!!

What makes the event exceptionally rare is that it falls on Loy Krathong.

It poured here in Southern Hua Hin last night, filled up more water into Khao Tao Lake which will be packed tomorrow night. If your going best to head out and claim a spot, last time prior to Covid it was packed.

Floated in the swimming pool so the bio-degradable bit doesn't really matter, it's the thought that counts.

I almost missed all of it.

 

Fortunately, I just happened to be exiting my abode at the right time to see about 80 percent of it, beginning at 6:15 PM, this evening.

 

Such a spectacular thing to see, as always.

 

Where will you be, do you think, September 8th, 2025?

 

And, probably, in September, the skies will be overcast.

 

Therefore, I was happy to see what I saw this evening.

 

However, I wish that someone had told me, in advance, so that I could have relished the full event.

Yeah. They usurped a perfectly nice name for a girl to refer to a female's front bits, as in "fanny pack", and a happy word to refer to homosexuality ie "gay".
