Voter suppression you say? You will enjoy this thread...

"A judge denied on Tuesday evening the Republicans’ effort to extend poll hours and delay the release of early ballot numbers on Election Day in Arizona’s largest county. "

Where exactly was the voter suppression?  They wanted the polls open later.  The poll hours have been well known for a long, long time.  Suddenly, they want them open later.

Exactly. The republicans tried to suppress, this time a judge stepped in.
Voting should be made easy.

I'm not sure wanting only legal and legitimate ballots counted, and ballots that do not conform to the rules rejected counts as suppression?

Surely adhering to election rules is good for electoral integrity. We should all be supporting this.

Again, what investigations?  Other than Barr claiming what he's claiming in general he provided no evidence of any of the investigations or their details to my knowledge.  People can say anything they want as long as they know they don't have to back it up.

The DOJ did investigate.  There was no evidence of any criminal activity that would support further investigation.  There was no significant fraud.  It's just like if someone calls the fire department to a house that isn't on fire.  They aren't going to douse it with 1,000 gallons of water just because someone said it was on fire.

20% of the perfect counting machines(to question anything about them could see you banned from social media and worse because they never could malfunction) being broken(raises an eyebrow) could conceivably cause delay, long queues and confusion, much better to simply extend hours. Right?

"Some voters also had to wait hours to cast their ballots at polling places because only one of two tabulators were working, with aerial video showing lines wrapped around buildings in the Phoenix area. “We’d like to apologize to voters who were inconvenienced by some of the things that occurred today,” Gates said. “No one was disenfranchised today.”

who said no one was disenfranchised? Waiting hours in the Az sun would be an issue for some. Best play fair and extend hours to vote.

I'll go ahead and put it in capitals for you.

WITH AERIAL VIDEO SHOWING LINES WRAPPED AROUND BUILDINGS IN THE PHOENIX AREA

I could care less what desperate spin msm puts on it, video showing huge queues of waiting voters is more credible evidence than some partisan opinion piece in an media outlet that is having a dreadful day.

The tabulations machines did not malfunction.  They performed exactly as they were supposed to function.  The printers that print a voter's ballot were printing the security marks along the borders of the ballots too light.  It was not easy to spot so it took some time for the technicians to figure out what the problem was.  It was corrected.

The tabulation machines did exactly what they were supposed to do and that is to reject any ballot that did not have the correct security codes in the printed boxes were rejected.  The voters who had a ballot rejected by the machines had a choice:  They could deposit the ballot in a nearby secure ballot box where they will be hand counted.   The other option was to check out of the poll and go to another polling station.

So,  the tabulation machines functioned exactly as they should.  Anyone wanting to use an unauthorized ballot will get it rejected.

Arizona County not MSM read the article

The county said on Twitter Tuesday afternoon that wait times were under 30 minutes at more than 200 sites and under 10 minutes at more than 160 sites.

Watching the results come in now and the big red wave folks had talked about happening us nothing more than a trickle. Some places like Georgia and Arizona may be what decides either the senate or house, but IMHO I don't see both the house and senate turning red.

from your own apnews link -

"CLAIM: Voters on Tuesday faced a minimum two-hour wait time at most voting sites in Maricopa County.

THE FACTS: The county responded to this claim, saying it’s inaccurate. And as of midday Tuesday, nearly half of Maricopa County’s 223 voting centers reported no waits, The Associated Press reported.

Some voters in the Phoenix suburb Anthem had reported waiting several hours to be able to vote, with only one of two tabulators there working. By 1:30 p.m., the Anthem location had a wait of about an hour."

So as per apnews some Phoenix voters reported waiting SEVERAL HOURS which was due to issues with 20% of the tabulating machines. apnews is particularly dishonest here by making a silly claim about "MOST" voting sites in Maricopa. Nobody said MOST voting sites, yet they do this so they can partly debunk the false claim, which they just made up to be able to do this - SNopes do this all the time too, something like Trump claimed Bidens DOJ raided his home in the middle of the night while Trump was wearing fluffy pink slippers. VERDICT partly false. While his home was raided at night like he said, there is no evidence he was wearing fluffy pink slippers. A dirty trick by factcheckers to watch out for.

You are misrepresenting, well actually being totally dishonest about what AP News said. It did NOT say

"So as per apnews some Phoenix voters reported waiting SEVERAL HOURS which was due to issues with 20% of the tabulating machine"

Okay, you can't produce any information about any investigation allegedly done by Barr & the DOJ.  You just take their word for it.  But any real documented evidence of election fraud gets dismissed.  Makes sense only if you goal seek but not if the objective is to know the truth.

What else to expect other than misrepresentation by the usual suspects. Sadly looks as though in a number of cases US politics will go down the drain e.g. As of six hours ago more than 75 election deniers already elected...

A majority of Republican nominees on the ballot Tuesday for the House, Senate and key statewide offices — 291 in all — have denied or questioned the outcome of the last presidential election, according to a Washington Post analysis. The Post is tracking the outcomes of their contests in real time.

You don't conduct an investigation without evidence of a crime.  All "evidence" of electoral fraud presented was show to be nonsense.
