Popular Post webfact
The World Cup trophy next to a football. Photo by Fauzan Saari on Unsplash by TNR Staff DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER Prawit Wongsuwan has apparently dampened the hopes of the Thai people anticipating the live broadcasting of each and every soccer match in the Fifa World Cup 2022. Prawit told reporters at Government House that the Thais might probably watch only some of a total of 64 soccer matches from Qatar on free TV here whilst the World Cup tournament held every four years is scheduled between November 20 and December 18. The deputy premier in charge of sports affairs stopped short of saying how many of the total 64 soccer games starting from the opener until the final might probably be available to watch live in this country and blamed it on a pricey 1.6 billion baht Fifa broadcasting licence. Popular Post Mac Mickmanus
Just why cant Thais get organised and plan things beforehand . They've had four years to get TV rights organised and there still haven't got it sorted out . Seems like Thailand have made a low offer to FIFA for the TV rights and they are hoping that FIFA will accept the take it or leave it offer 5 3 1

Popular Post Jerno
Pray-hoot can find billions upon billions for useless Military equipment, but can't find enough for something that millions of Thais would benefit and enjoy. What happened to bringing Happiness to the People? This so-called Gov't is pathetic. 7 1

bamnutsak
All but the last fifteen matches. There have been montrous cock-ups here and while this one, assuming some matches are shown, is not top three material it certainly deserves an Honorobale Mention. Popular Post siftasam
For the sake of my sanity, can they please not show the England games? Watching Maguire and Dier, I'd think the picture was frozen. My TV remote doesn't have a fast forward. 1 1

JayBird
I'm a bit confused. He said on free tv? Can you still get it from true or other providers who bought it themselves? It's only about 50M USD, which is chump change to people like Bezos. Perhaps dolly can spring for it.
