A suspected gunman was apprehended by spectators at a cock-fighting ring in Pathum Thani province yesterday (Sunday) after he allegedly shot a man.

 

The victim was pronounced dead after he arrived at the provincial hospital.

 

According to Mueang district police and eyewitnesses, one of the spectators, in a red shirt, was engaged in a loud verbal exchange with another man on the opposite side of the cock-fighting ring in Mueang district.

Disgraceful that cockfighting is legal in Thailand.

That cock fighting is such a dangerous sport,  one can get shot if he backs the wrong cock ....
