Sad news. May God take care of those who passed away.

Serious injuries but no mention of any deaths.

God will have to look elsewhere.

PM Prayut's nine years of imposing a State of Emergency in the South because of the contunuing insurrection coupled with a modicum of acceptance of associated deaths and injurings seems to be the price paid for refusal to good faith negotiations for peace with the insurrectionist.

Don't blame Prayut. It all started when the British divided the area in 1909. And the current person who bears the most blame is Thaksin. Hopefully he won't be back in office. Ever.

Three Thai railway officials are believed to have been killed and four others injured in an explosion this morning (Tuesday), about 200 metres from the scene of a blast on Saturday, when a freight train, travelling from Hat Yai town to Padang Besar border town, was derailed.

The three men were among a group of seven employees of the State Railway of Thailand assigned to repair the damaged rail tracks and remove derailed carriages from the scene.

Deeden Khongsom, one of those who escaped with minor injuries, told the media that the explosion occurred as they were walking back from the scene of the first explosion in Ban Tha Pho in Sadao district.

Thank you... some sense at last.

If Thailand returned to the negotiating table with a sense of priority this could all be avoided.

muslims in the south will never stop killing innocent workers. They  have been doing it for generations.

About as long as Thailand has been stealing land from the south?
