New Honda Rebel 1100 DCT

Featured Replies

There should be a topic on this exciting bike, but the search (as usual) returns no hits.

So, does anybody got one? Impressions? Ride? Please share as I'm thinking of a big Xmas present for myself...

Nice bike if you like that kind of thing and fun but a back killer for me.

It seems there was a thread some time back a fellow waiting for a  Goldwing got one of those Rebels 1100DCT

That has got to be one of the Fugliest bikes I have ever seen.

Altho' the smaller Rebel is in the race too.

Along with BMW - !!! 555

Well, everybody to heir own. I'm a hardcore Harley person, but could do well with a Triumph too. Problem is they are located far away in the Big Mango.

I'm not a crotch rocket person, and have never owned a Jap bike.

Apart from the current PCX, but that's hardly a bike IMO.

So for me, it's either Honda Big Wing stuff or Kawasaki (Vulkan S), if I want a decent ride.

don't like the "chopper" look / riding position ....

It's like a licence to get someone to wear a bandanna ...

oh - and remember the days it wasn't cool to keep saying things were "cool" - now breedin' everything is cool ....

Recently borrowed a Rebel 1100 DCT  rode it for 2 hours about 120kms ,,  usual great honda quality but a bit gutless and bland  did not handle as well as my wifes 500 rebel ??? ,  lacked excitement  DCT worked really well  i also have recently tried  out all Triumph Bonny models too from 900 to 1200  great quality and looks but naff engines  gutless  also horrible handling   so ended up with a bargain new Z900 for 250k to go with my old S4 Monster here , my wife has a rebel 500  and my daughter has a Ninja 650 ,,

I got a few more bikes in UK  2 750 monsters and a HD shovelhead 1200 custom and a Norton commando

If I had bought a 650 Ninja instead of the Versys I would say I'd still have it and saved myself a lot of dosh.
