Sanook Thai Caption: Vehicle flying in....

 

Sanook published a video of a pick-up out of control that nearly hit a woman playing on her phone outside a business.

 

The factory worker is waiting for a lift to work when she hears screeching then looks up.

 

She is just in time to get out of the way as a pick-up comes barrelling through after losing control on Route 3031 in Pluak Daeng, Rayong, eastern Thailand.

 

CCTV caught the near miss.

 

Suthep, 27, who was at the scene gave his version of what happened that tallied with the video evidence. 

 

The media went to Pluak Daeng hospital where the male driver had been taken.

 

But he was not there. He had not wanted to be admitted. 

 

Pluak Daeng police are looking into what happened and will contact the driver to find out what led up to the accident.

go home and sober up before the police came................

The video from the car cam is clear....driving like a complete idiot, belching black smoke out, then loses it, possibly a blow out.

Hey! Thais never drive too fast.

What, doing speed or traveling at speed? Or both?

They don't mess around do they!

Hard to see but seems he's not even counter steering. Modified turbo and or ECU (black smoke), maybe the power came to full when in the curve and started drifting. Let go the gas pedal and counter steer, if good and quick enough you can bring it back.

 

Happy that I got my license in a snow country.

 

So from now on (and in conjunction with the points system), a stage in Finland with Ary Vatanen will be obligatory to obtain the driving license.
