Siam Rath reported that the Airports Authority of Thailand at Suvarnabhumi airport reacted after chaos among group tours.

Such tours have been on the rise since the end of the pandemic but companies are not following the protocols.

In some cases groups have simply been abandoned at the airport while others have been dumped there ten hours early.

The resulting chaos has caused the AOT to get together with tour agencies ATTA and TTAA to set up a special check-in and help area on the fourth floor of the airport.
