Popular Post geisha
If it happened in a crowded bar, I suppose there are many witnesses. I doubt Thai chief Surachate would get involved over a few slaps. 2

I noticed a very small private jet landing in Samui yesterday, looked much like a Cessna Mustang but can't be certain. Does this police chief travel by private business jet to investigate small time bar disputes and spats? Anyone know how he travelled to/from Samui? 2

This like the two French dudes in the new Porche who beat up the poor innocent motorcycle rider. Big news that vanished when somebody looked at some CCTV. 6 3
Popular Post rwill
According to an article on Thaiger they claimed to be part of a rich and powerful mafia group. It started when one of the men stepped on the Thai womans foot and handbag while standing on a sofa to get a better view of the fireworks. It does also state that other foreigners tried to help the Thai women and they were also attacked. I'm not sure if you can Link Thaiger articles here so I did not.

Popular Post cardinalblue
Should have been handled quickly and properly at the time of the incident by the local police… obviously it was not if higher ups are involved… Define attack and results…hospitalized? Injuries? Personal feelings hurt? too much missing in this story 2
gunner1
If in fact they are Ex-Pats, they better pack their ditty bags cause they are out of here! Ex-Pats should know better than to get involved with Thai's especially where alcohol is available.
Popular Post Tarteso
This kind of news will be on Thai TV and Online media continuously today. The result; Create a hostile and reactionary environment towards expats and tourists. 4
ThailandRyan
Look awfully young to be true expats. One wonders Der how they determined they were expats and not tourists who come and go many times a year. If the incident is proven true then they should be charged, fined, di jail time or be deported with a blacklisting. In the end the listing as a expat attacking Thais gives is all a black eye. Big Joke was in Samui yesterday investigating an international school teacher accused of molesting a kindergarten kid. You know how these guys roll, we can presume he flies on business jets. One wonders why the Samui police are so incapable of investigating a crime that they need the big boss to come and solve the mystery. 2 1 1

Thingamabob
The reporting on this alleged incident is so vague as to question what really happened. I can't imagine why a group of foreigners would attack a group of Thai tourists unless excessive drugs and drink were involved. Even then it seems highly unlikely.
