Sanook Thai Caption: What a kerfuffle!

 

Sanook devoted many column inches to a domestic dispute involving a husband and wife in Tak, north west Thailand.

 

The essence of the story was that a couple from Nakhon Sawan had both gone to Tak separately.

 

But the wife found out that her husband was visiting many temples in the area to make merit with his mistress or "gik".

 

To make matters worse she said it was her car he was using that she had bought for him. An orange Toyota, no less.

Locals tried to intervene near the Ping River as the wife sat on the bonnet of the car and he tried to drive off.

 

He ended up grabbing her and hurling her to the ground before driving off. She needed hospital treatment. 

 

The locals had tried to get the keys and calm the situation down but the husband had ended up hitting bystanders. 

 

It was all more than in a movie, Sanook suggested in their headline.

Seems like an awfully long altercation, I suppose not many police in Tak?

Hopefully she sees the positive side and leaves him in the dirt. My advise to her....better single than abused.

Similar incidents happening across the kingdom 1000 times.  Wife finds out about husband's gik, then big fight.....often getting physical.  Why is this newsworthy?
