February 9, 20233 yr Popular Post A warning to all to check entry stamps. I have ME npn O and just entered from Cambodia and was given 45 days. Luckily I checked and went back and he changed it to 90 days.
February 9, 20233 yr Popular Post Yes makes sense, if you don't and its stamped incorrectly, it is sometimes difficult to get the error corrected? Of course its never the IO's fault its yours?
February 9, 20233 yr Popular Post Good advice. I once entered via the Airport and the IO stamped my Multiple Entry Re-Entry Permit used. Found out immediately after leaving the desk. Took some effort at the airport and visits to multiple IO's to get it corrected.
February 9, 20233 yr Check your extension stamp as well. Just did my annual extension today, and noticed that the stamp didn't include today's issue date. I don't know whether that would really matter, but I handed it back and pointed out the omission. The girlie giggled, said "sorry" and quickly did the necessary.

February 10, 20233 yr When entering Thailand on a visa exempt I never checked it until I got to Pattaya and found it had the wrong date, I mentioned it to the now deceased guy at the agency I was dealing with, and he told me the only way to get it fixed was to let him take it to Jomtein immigration at the cost of 1000Bt, I told him I was going to the airport the following day and would get it fixed myself, he told me if I did the IO at the airport would make it hard for me.

February 13, 20233 yr Many of the presenters on TV wear masks . Makes me laugh - do they think the virus can spread to the viewers out of the TV screen ?
