Government and NGO services for the blind in Chiang Mai.

Featured Replies

I know a Chiang Mai resident - a Thai citizen -  who has an adult blind son.

They live together.

The son never learned Braille and is not part of a blind community/support network.

What services are available?

Is there a Governmental or NGO group in CM that teaches Braille?

And is there one that helps people with disabilities live independently with a roommate who also has a (different) disability?

A group for the blind with get togethers/events?

There's the school for the blind sorta between Wat Phra Sing and Suan Dawk Gate and I'd recommend you inquire there.
