Popular Post superal
2 hours ago, Scott said: Biden’s Ukraine visit upstages Putin and leaves Moscow’s military pundits raging President Joe Biden’s surprise visit to Ukraine sparked anger and embarrassment among many of Russia’s hawkish military pundits on Monday, increasing pressure on Vladimir Putin as the Russian leader prepares to justify his stuttering invasion in a national address. Biden’s historic visit came days before the one-year anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, providing a symbolic boost to Kyiv at a crucial juncture in the conflict. But the visit caused fury in Russian pro-military and ultranationalist circles, as it upstages Putin on the eve of a major address in which the Russian president is expected to tout the supposed achievements of what he euphemistically calls a “special military operation.” https://www.cnn.com/2023/02/20/europe/russia-reaction-biden-ukraine-visit-intl/index.html Bidens visit has triggered a visit to Russia by China president XI . There is speculation that China may supply arms to Russia , despite a previous refusal . Some reasoning is that China tried to be the peace maker but Zelensky did not want to know . If the Chinese do supply weapons to Russia , that will start another cold war and heighten the tensions between the U.S.A. , Russia & China . I am not sure when the XI visit is scheduled for as it was announced early today . Looks like the war may not end any time soon and defeat for Putin has severe consequences for the world . 1

Much as I want the Dems to succeed in all they do, I was a little saddened to see this old man Biden shuffling around the place and occasionally stumbling with his words, and as for a "motivational speaker", well he doesn't cut the mustard in that regard, sad to say. I sincerely hope the Dems have someone new "up their sleeve" to contest the next election, although Joe might get in at a pinch, but touch and go IMO. He's pretty good for a person who has had a lifelong speech impediment and had to receive intensive therapy as a young person. 1 hour ago, superal said: Bidens visit has triggered a visit to Russia by China president XI . China's trade is minuscule compare to that with the US and western allies against Russia. 39 minutes ago, Adumbration said: No winners here....none... ....the fruits of victory would be ashes in our mouth... China has warned Russia never to do this, so has India. Putin will only do this if he knows his number is up and the grim reaper has arrived at his door. At that time his Generals will off him. Russia wants to be a world player, not an ash tray. The mantra that the west should surrender to Russia because he might press the red button is getting tired now. 3
