A Decent Close Shave

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

I used to visit a lady in Rompo market every now again for an excellent shave but she has retired & the rest that I have tried are poor.

The one on the left of that S-bend on soi Buakhao near Klang changed staff as well with a dip in form so can anyone recommend a decent barbers please?

I shave myself but like to go once a month for a tidy up around the edges, as I age & my eye sight diminishes then I don't see the random rogue hairs growing in odd places.

The best shaves that I have ever had were in India by a cocked hat but that's too far to go for a dig in the grave.

You could try various different  hairdressers and wait until you find one you like ?

Every month try a different one ?

I've tried loads my old wrestling friend but the combined knowledge of the thaivisa pattaya forum can cut months of disappointing & poor shaves off that list.

Bad news about the S-Bend barber shop, I too enjoyed the pampering for small change.

I'm kinda far away in Bang Saray but went to get a haircut at shop on corner 332 and Sukumvit.. I have a goatee and mustache, They don't speak much English and I speak enough Thai to get in jail..not enough to get out.. Anyhow the guy cuts my hair and via me excellent Thai and sign language I ask him to trim my stash and goat.. Smoothest darn shave I ever had, and by the time I figured out "he ain't trimming" was too late.. Hot towel and everything.... The wife went into hysterics when I got home....No worries that stuff grows back, its the stuff on top thats thinning'...

Try Soi Hollywood- off Pattaya Tai ( i think soi 13).5 or 6 barber shops there. I have  use the one closest to Pattaya Tai for years.
