Is it normal practice cause I have heard from others that if there are punctures or tear on your passport (when you get rid of staples ) , the other country immigration will not allow entry.
can I advise the Thai immigration not to staple or let it be ?

Amazed you received 4 laugh emoji.

Those folk do not understand the law.

Along with Thai immigration.

Stapling TM6 or whatever it technically illegal.

Thai immigration bad offenders.

Just tell immigration officer to leave your pp alone regarding stamping rubbish.

When they staple your arrivals/departure card into your passport, move it and make sure it is on the last used page rather than on a blank page.

Always put it on page 9.

I have my 90 day reporting stapled in my passport and have no issues going back and forth to America or through connecting countries.

Remember you paid for the passport and it is your property not theirs.

Actually you don't. A passport remains the property of the government that issued it - it is never yours.
