Think Thai Gov needs to put the mokkers on this sort of foreign ownership practice before average every-day Thais can no longer afford land in Thailand.

See it happen here in Aus not only with land but with all real estate.

To see the effects, only need to watch the nightly news reports.

Thai laws are never designed to protect the little guys, the foreign property ownership restrictions are only there to protect the wealthy Thai investors.

Foreigners are already not allowed to buy land, but they buy in dodgy company name, they should enforce that, a matter of time

Boohoo....land was horribly expensive even before that.

It's not uncommon here, deep in the rubber plantations of Songkla province, to ask for 1 mil for a Rai of land.

No village nearby or electricity.

I would be lucky to get 1/20 of that back in my area, somewhere in the Med.
