The sun's been up over two hours and I already have my breakfast buzz on.

Cheers!

Are you at O'Sheas for breakfast? Is it still ฿249 for brekkie including one pint of lager?

The Phuket Provincial Police told the Phuket Express that three foreigners involved in a fight that went viral on social media, who were two legally employed restaurant staffers identified only as Mr. ALOMARI, 25, Jordanian national, and Mr. Ahmed, 26, Egyptian national, and the customer, Mr. Karen, 34, Australian national, admitted to the assault charges.

That's one heck of a sentence...

Deport all of them

Fighting will not be tolerated in a shape or form.

No red , yellow cards to them??

Not even blacklisted or deported as they would be if they had overstayed their visa.

You wouldn't catch me dead on that island.

...but that breakfast special you mention is indeed tempting.

What island? Oh yeah, Phuket is an island ????????????

O'Sheas is in Bangers, Suk 33/1.

I haven't tried their brekkie yet but this is the menu as of a few years ago. I think it's still current, an English mate mentioned 199 baht a few weeks ago re their brekkie...

After the Australian threw a bottle at the staff, then it became them defending themselves and getting him away from the stall. One was fighting, the two smaller guys were defending themselves and others.

The victims were acting in self defence yet you would deport them.

I would like to argue instead, that you should be deported

from the linked article...

The Phuket Express noted the Phuket Provincial Police did not mention if these three were sent to the Phuket Immigration for possible yellow or red cards under a new classification system for misbehaving foreigners being tested in Phuket.

So it sounds like this yellow/red card scheme is discretionary?

Fighting used to be a 500 THB fine.  So, is this inflation or dual-pricing????

While it should be 20000 at least, only dogs fight.

What a fine man.

I remember a long time ago sitting down with the missus at a table and ordering lunch, the open-air restaurant was virtually empty so looked like a good bet.

After a short while another group came in, occupying two tables all-together their orders were also taken.

Drinks were quickly given tho them while we were still waiting for ours.

Rice and some other dishes were then taken to their table, we still had nothing, another 5 minutes more food was taken to their table and they began eating..

I said okay I've been patient enough, told the missus we were leaving.

As we were walking out the staff rushed over to us and said we couldn't leave as they were now cooking our order.

I said we have been here almost 25 minutes, you took our order even before they arrived.

They're eating and there is still nothing on our table, not even water.

I said too late, enjoy our food for your lunch, and left.

Should have waited and shovelled your order into a doggie bag before leaving without paying.

Fights in restaurants are amazing.????????
