Thalang – A bar and lounge in Thalang was raided for allegedly opening a venue without permission and selling alcohol past the legal time of 2 AM.

The Thalang District Chief Mr. Bancha Thanuin told the Phuket Express that on Saturday (April 1st) in the early morning officials raided a bar and lounge in the Sri Soonthorn sub-district.

 

The exact name of the venue, however, was withheld by police pending a further investigation.

Yet another bar open without permission... crazy.

The venue not named..the manager not named....and again, no permit.....so payments not made?

Seems totally mad to ban the sale of something that you can legally consume 24/7
