A lot of victim blaming going on in this thread. It doesn't matter what you have or haven't done, the courts and generals will decide who gets disqualified and who doesn't (and when).

It should be almost impossible for anyone who's been following Thai politics for long enough to not get this. Hard to believe that some of these accounts aren't trolls and/or psy-ops, especially the ones that post nonstop in politics threads with barely readable English.

',,,barely readable English.' Folks are entitled to have an opinion and it should have some rational but their english abilty should NEVER be a factor in whether they post or don't post.

Yes unfortunately some posts are probably trolls and some posts (possibly paid) are probably part of planned/structured activities to push people towards or away from a specific party/coalition/grouping.

It's been said a million times:

- The military should not be involved in any way but they are and we wait to see what they will do next.

- The election clearly indicates a very large number of Thai folks want change and they have indicated clearly the direction they want the country to pursue. We wait and see.

I have an opinion too - I'm hoping Khun Pita is the next PM and hoping that the coalition remains intact so that real meaningful change gets enacted.

In a democracy, the winner of elections becomes Prime Minister. In Thailand, the winner of elections, unless he is a general, is investigated to make sure he does not get the job.

Weds suggestion by caretaker Deputy PM Wissanu that all MF MPs elect may be disqualified if Pita is disqualified due to ITV media shares holding as Pita endorsed them to compete is farfetched but possible.

What a pile of buffalo poo-poo again, as usual. Yeah.. No problem dissolving a whole party over a few defunct shares, but what about the fact that most (if not all) local media is controlled by these idiots with Prayuth and other dinosaurs constantly getting air time with their nonsensical BS and FUD?

Well, you know what they say, in for a Satang, in for a Baht!

I understand that the Army has asked them to spin things out for a bit - they are having some issues getting ready, sourcing parts to get their Russian kit back up and running is proving a problem!
