A Thai woman demanded a renowned shopping mall in Bangkok to compensate her after her car was smashed and her belongings were stolen at the mall’s car park on Sunday, June 11.

The victim, Kitiyaporn, took to social media on Sunday to share her distressing experience, accompanied by pictures of her damaged car. The images reveal a shattered window on the driver’s side. Her tablet and camera were stolen as a consequence of the robbery.

Kitiyaporn expressed her dissatisfaction with the shopping mall’s lack of responsibility, claiming that she was instructed to await a meeting with the executive board.

Kittiyaporn did not reveal the name of the shopping mall. She only disclosed in the caption that it was a shopping mall in the Ratchaprasong neighbourhood of Bangkok.

I have to travel back to work in Chon Buri, so I borrowed my brother’s car. What if I do not have any cars? What should I do? Should I take a day off from work to handle this?”

Have you heard of public transport?

I think it is strange that often we see parts of articles on this forum, but important parts are not shown.

Perhaps there is some arbitrary word count used as normally those bits missing are only further to the end of the linked article. No idea - if I am bothered I just read the linked article but sometimes there is no more.

Yes, I think they are those dirty bus things which get in the way of my Bentley. My chauffeur hates them.

How is the mall responsible for someone breaking into her car?

Many years ago I was working in Brighton, UK, a week after the IRA had bombed the Grand Hotel where Maggie Thatcher and members of her government were staying. I used the car park behind the hotel, where a police incident cabin had been set up - and my car was broken in to and a couple of bottles of scotch stolen from the boot. That pi**ed me off, what with it happening with plod there on-site. The thief had  a nerve.

Yes. But that's why they link the full article. I think it's strange when the entire linked article is already in the original thread. Can't see the point of that.

I haven't seen a mall anywhere where the owners or operators of the parking facilities do not have a stated and placarded policy that they are NOT responsible for any stuff left in a car or damage to the car by other drivers.

That doesn't mean that the placarded policy statement is true.

Well, this would never have happened if she had been driving a Ferrari or a Lamborghini like most sensible people.   Then she could have parked in the Supercar reserved parking area with a security attendant standing watch.  What in the World was she thinking???

Maybe someone had stolen the signs???

It happens!

Bell End residents left furious as street sign is stolen again

Bell End in Wollaston. See SWNS story SWMDbellend. Villagers have blasted "pathetic" thieves who have again stolen the sign from their street - Bell End. The road, in Wollaston, Northants., often features in a list of the top ten rudest in the country. But fed-up residents have bemoaned yet another robbery - claiming the naughty sign is nicked at least once a year. Bell End is about 100 metres long and is named after the now-closed Bell Inn pub.
