Some time ago I asked for help on finding a good Manicurist to help with a couple of my nails which are a bit awkward. Somebody recommended a shop in Soi 28 Sukhumvit and I have been using them ever since. I normally pop in and book an appointment a couple of days ahead. It's always worked fine and she is very good. But twice this week I popped in and they were shut. I hope it's not permanent but  i need to get my nails cut.

The wife can do 8 of my nails but the other 2 give her problems (and me pain).

So I'm looking for a replacement. Anywhere between Naklua and Na Jomtien

I know I'm not the only one who has problem nails so I would appreciate your help.

very expensive !!!!!!

I don't bargain or look for cheaper places like $50 room in Thailand. Why? Because I have the ability to earn in dollars. The same question I asked in another thread why people who have the ability to earn in dollars are losing their sleep over increasing egg prices.

Perhaps it’s because you don’t distinguish between baht and US$ in your posts. Perhaps instead of being lazy, you should just write baht, instead of utilising a $ incorrectly.

Sukhumvit Rd. has plenty of barber/nail salons to choose from and a manicure and Pedicure shouldn't cost more than 500 baht.

In Pattaya - really? It's a long and busy road but not sure I have ever noticed a barber/nail salon actually facing on to it let alone plenty.........

PS - I am sure there must be one somewhere probably up by the Ambassador or similar.

I use a barber shop in Rompho for my pedicure only. $150+$20. I don't need manicure as I can do it myself using a nail clipper.

Don't you mean BHT, not $s

US$ are not legal tender here, we use Thai Baht. Also simply saying dollars is insufficient in this international environment, do you mean Australian, NZ, Singapore, Hong Kong or Canadian?

Got it. Thanks USD. When a youtuber says $50 room in Bangkok, everybody understands it USD. Dollar without specifying the country alwasy mean USD. Because USD rules the World.

How would you know what everybody in the world understands? I expect an Australians first thought would be his own dollars. Simply easier to be clear. Some weakening of the baht evident recently.... even wrt Sterling.
