I hope your life is not impacted too badly from witnessing this fashion faux pas and you swiftly recover from any ill effects.

Not at all, makes for a good laff.

Think Americans first thought they were Kool doing this ?

I think it was the French and the Brits first.

Or keeps the mozzies off the back of your neck.  Little bastards were chewing my A$$ up last week, and I actually put the collar of my shirt up, while out snapping photos.

Had to opt for trainers & sock vs open sandals, long pants & long sleeved shirt.  Don't they realize it's hot out and they make thing annoying.

Try this,

Nah, I avoid chemicals on my body, or clothing.  For my sake, and the dog's, as she don't need to be sniffing that krap.

If an animal is smart enough to avoid it, or die from it, I think I'll pass using it.

I turn my collar up to avoid becoming a redneck.

Of course, I could achieve the same effect by wearing a MAGA baseball cap backwards. However, I understand that would involve a drop of IQ of 50 points, and I don't want to revert to the mean.

Do you use starch for the crisp look. I'm a beach guy so being a redneck isn't an issue.
