No they're not. Mexicans have been eating corn tortillas since before Columbus "discovered" them.  Corn is a holy plant to the pre-Columbian Mexicans and other MesoAmerican cultures.

Actually I just made a fusion Thai/Mexican Burrito.  Wife had made Thai fried rice (she makes the best)  and I heated up a flour tortilla to soften it up, filled it up with Fried rice, grated che

The Mission Wraps (tortilla) at Villa and Topps are okay.

Topps has a brand of raw corn tortillas that are actually pretty good.

I've yet to have a taco in Thailand from a restaurant that is good. Some Makros sell the small tortillas made from flour or wheat not corn.

Never hurts to read the labels once in a while:

Makro sells the pre-fab corn taco shells and I think a couple varieties of Dania <sic> flour/wheat tortillas.

Villa has about ten varieties of the Mission flour/wheat wraps/tortillas.

Topps has pretty good raw corn tortillas, at least they did a few weeks ago.

That's location dependent, as ours/PKK rarely stocks soft tortillas, and gone fast when they arrive.  Not big on western fare offerings.

The Villa I shop runs out of the Mission "Original" sometimes, but they always have the nine or so other varieties.

My Topps does not sell the raw corn tortillas, I have to get them when I visit my boy in Salaya.

Topps has a "you-buy-we-fry" diner and my boy has them make fresh tacos now and then.

I can confirm Missing Burro IS good!  Run by Mexicans, as you say -- it was first recommended to me by a Mexican friend.
