I've had very good platonic relationships, but all the ones I really got on with were already married, so never got to see if friendship is enough in a marriage to keep it alive.

I would imagine at least a couple of my female cousins matched and likely surpassed your IQ measure. As, if you take those things seriously, did I. Though I prefer to be an ‘underachiever’. 
I also find it hard to deal with stupid and/or superficial people. 
I guess an intelligent girl is less likely to put up with your nonsense. I don’t have any nonsense, so not afraid of intelligent girls. Stupid people will ruin things…. because they are stupid.

They may even think they are smarter than you.

Sounds like both wives are in the past, so didn't work out better than my intellectually inferior Thai wife.

My first partner was my intellectual equal and that didn't work out either.

IMO relationships are just a matter of luck, and everyone changes anyway.

I lived with one Thai lady that insisted on doing it 5x a day, but would try and stab or poison me 1x every 2 weeks.

You need to balance what level of sex you require Vs the risk you're prepared to take.

I would not have had any trouble finding a woman back home, but I tried a solo mum once and that was more than enough- never ever again. Single, never pregnant, don't want kids women are like hens teeth and one has to be lucky to find one before someone else does.
