webfact
Pattaya — A thief stole a bag containing various valuable items from a 59-year-old security guard with hemiparesis in Pattaya on July 7th. The bag belonged to Mr. Surasak Mathes, a security guard of an unnamed apartment complex within Soi Sukhumvit Pattaya 52 of Nongprue sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province. According to him, he was guarding an apartment complex while sitting on a bench in front of the premises. While he was resting his eyes, a male perpetrator, wearing black jeans and a black long-sleeved shirt, slowly approached him, grabbed his bag containing valuable items such as amulets, an ATM card, and important documents, and then fled. Bangkok Barry
Reminds me of a report on Thai Visa some years ago. A foreigner hired someone as night watchman at his factory, and on the first night Somchai rolled up with a pillow and blanket - and probably still wonders to this day why he was fired before he even started.

He was fired because he forgot to bring along an alarm clock!
