On July 26th, Dr. Jatesada, a professor from the Faculty of Science at Chulalongkorn University, pointed out on Facebook discrepancies regarding two vehicles, a 1972 Citron DS 21 and a BMW, associated with Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health.

These cars were not listed in the declared assets submitted to the National Anti-Corruption Commission, reported Thai Rath.

Responding to Dr. Jatesada's post, Mr. Anutin clarified that the Citron belongs to his son, while he recently purchased the BMW, explaining its absence from the asset declaration in March 2566 (2023).

He reassured that it would appear in the upcoming declaration after his recent appointment in early July 2566 (2023).

Concluding, Mr. Anutin urged accuracy in news reporting to prevent misunderstandings and thanked Dr. Jatesada for the query. Gratefully, Dr. Jatesada acknowledged the clarification and promised to spread the correct information.

He may be one (of many) odious men in power but I have to admit he has a good taste in cars

Jeez, pick a design style,  eclecticism isn't a thing anymore.

Good taste? He just buys all the top luxury brands. It's not like he's discriminating.

The defunct ITV shares were held by Pitta’s father until his death which then became part of the late fathers estate as far as I am to believe the share never actually belonged to the future PM nevertheless all the vultures in power have lynched him in order to stop him being the next PM but those who own expensive watches and expensive cars very rarely get questioned over where they got them from its one rule for those who are in with the Junta and one rule to those who are opposed to the Junta

Something he has in common with Prayut, a face like a smacked backside.

It seems like a gentlemanly misunderstanding. Anutin has an interesting taste in cars.

Now a full independent audit on all his and his wife's bank accounts,  especially wire transfers out of the country.

You can see what type of person he is from his face.

A money worshipping devil.

Both are nice cars I’d gladly take one….. if people could get over pettiness maybe there’d be room to govern…

Tammanat declared 1 billion in assets but, hey, nothing suspicious there.

Ohh, that's alright then as I already thought it is just a misunderstanding!

I hate them all but this one has a special place...

Yeah, a proper good little saver that one...
