Believe it or not, I’ve never had the pleasure of hopping in a tuktuk and don’t ever intend to either because they’re so loud, most of them have loud fart cans attached to the tail pipe. Just curious, what model were of tuktuk were you thinking of driving? You may fit right in a be well accepted with the tuktuk crowd with one those loud fart cans, though I have no clue what the tuktuk etiquettes are????

you would have to talk to the transport department to find out where you are permitted to work from and what area you can cover ....  I don't know if tuk tuks are mafia controlled but it's likely possible,  if that's the case you would be playing with fire to go out on your own to operate.

Yeah, kinda like some restaurants have a "No Cannabis" in the soup sign, you could have a "No Yaa Baa" sign for the people who don't want a tweeker taking them around at 100km/hour weaving in and out of traffic. ????

IF you're going to do it, do it right. Build it like a dune buggy (fast, fun and comfortable) and decorate it like a PI Jeepny (<-sp) then add sponsor banners from the top Muey Thai and MMA training gyms. (it'll give the "competition" pause) ????

There's gotta be better ways to socialize than being a taxi driver, I'm not suggesting other tuk tuk drivers will attack you with a machete, but I'd bet money some will see you as a farang that's taking money away from them.  You could try to be a tour guide, hotel concierge, advertise as a private driver for hire, tourist police volunteer, etc.
