Angry Chiang Mai Activists Burn Their Red Shirts

There is only 1 thing all politicians are afraid of and force them to do what the people want and it isn't waving a sign. Up until a few weeks ago, army helicopters flew daily over Chiang Mai looking out for large gatherings I am sure.  Entire political process is well orchestrated.

These activists were also going to hold a ritual cursing ceremony in accordance with the belief of the Lanna people.

It will take a lot more than that to make a change.

Which is precisely why Thailand is in the mire.

Yes, even 14 million votes didn't lead to change.  The only thing that could lead to real change in Thailand is civil war and I doubt there is any appetite for that amongst the long suffering 'underdog' Thai people.

As long as there is a trough, the piggies will eat at it and it doesn't seem that anyone is capable of removing that trough.
