Popular Post webfact Posted August 7, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 7, 2023 29-year-old Daniel Sancho Bronchalo has been transferred to Ko Samui Prison from Ko Phangan after confessing to the premeditated murder of Colombina national Mr Edwin Arietta Arteaga on Wednesday, August 2nd last. He told police investigators he faced blackmail to continue a homosexual affair with the 44-year-old plastic surgeon who had given him money to open a restaurant in Spain. Daniel Sancho Branchalo admits to the premeditated murder of his 44-year-old gay lover. He claims he made repeated efforts to end the affair but had taken money from the older man and feared threats made of exposure on social media channels. The 29-year-old Spaniard accused of the premeditated murder of a 44-year-old Colombian plastic surgeon told police in recent days that the older man was blackmailing him into continuing a homosexual affair which he refused to engage with. He said he had planned to kill his lover after he had threatened to reveal intimate photos online which would be ruinous for him and his family in Spain. The Spanish chef and scion of a famous acting family, Mr Daniel Sancho Branchalo, has told police on Ko Phangan that he planned the murder of Mr Edwin Arietta Arteaga, whose body parts were found at a dump on the island on Thursday, sparking an intense police investigation leading to the arrest for questioning of Mr Branchalo on Friday and an arrest warrant for premeditated murder being issued by Ko Samui Provincial Court on Saturday. by James Morris and Son Nguyen Full story: https://www.thaiexaminer.com/thai-news-foreigners/2023/08/08/spaniard-killed-colombian-blackmail-threat-daniel-branchalo-edwin-arteaga-rodolfo-sancho-aguirre/ -- © Copyright Thai Examiner 2023-08-08 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Popular Post NanLaew Posted August 7, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 7, 2023 So now his family (and anyone else in Spain who gives a fig) will know he pimped himself into a homosexual relationship as well as committing homicide. Here's hoping there are no more damning revelations to sully his family's name such as claiming to have two girlfrinds at the same time or driving a scooter without a license. What's the Spanish word for muppet? 1 1 3 1
Jingthing Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 Coming next on real house husbands of Barthalona ... Impossible to tell if there is truth in his story but even if there is, it's obviously not the whole story and his victim doesn't get to say. There are a lot of cases these days of people (usually teenagers) committing suicide because of online blackmail over sexual pictures. It kind of makes sense that the flip side of that would be murdering the blackmailer, though in the online scam cases the perps are often overseas. So this murdering twunk comes from a famous family. Did they neglect to top up his trust fund? Will he be able to keep his lovely long hair in Thai prison? Speaking of which, if you're gonna murder someone wouldn't you realize you might get caught? Why travel to Thailand to do it? Surely Spanish prison is a cake walk in comparison. Better yet -- Norway.
bignok Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 Guy gives him money He kills him Not very grateful person

soalbundy Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 Premeditated murder? doesn't sound as if he meditated on it much. He must be brain dead to admit that, a crime of passion, self defense, anything would have gotten him a lighter sentence, he obviously isn't the sharpest knife in the box. 1
Ralf001 Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 For someone that pre-meditated a murder.... he really made a piss poor attempt at disposal. Or was it only the making dead part that had any thought put into it ? 1

pacovl46 Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 OK, so you had the choice between the world finding out you're gay, maybe "ruining" your and your family's reputation (like anyone actually gives a <deleted> about your sexual orientation in this day and age) and killing someone, the world still finding out you're gay, definitely ruining your and your family's reputation and spending at least 25 years in prison for murder and you went for the latter one?! Wow! 1
swerve Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 Woke BBC news attempts to portray Sancho Branchalo as a possible "hostage". Strange that the hostage would have equipment to cut the Colombian guy into small pieces after killing him, scatter the body pieces in various locations, and then attend the full moon party. 1

Wow! You're jumping to conclusions. He claims he was being blackmailed with sexual pictures. That's not the same thing as just being outed. But then there is the report that he stole money from the victim to open restaurants. Take all this with a mountain of salt. We don't know caca about this yet. 1 1

He said it himself, the guy was trying to blackmail him, he didn’t want to be found out and he wanted to keep his and his family’s reputation intact and that’s why he killed him. If that was really the case then the way to go would’ve been to go to the cops and press charges against him for blackmail instead of killing him. Obviously he achieved the exact opposite of what he wanted to achieve, keeping his homosexuality hidden and his and his family’s reputation intact! On the other hand it’s also quite possible that he just made that up as an excuse and the real reason is the stolen money. 1

The murderer mentioned pornographic materials as blackmail. That would be much more damaging than only being outed. Of course we don't know what's true in his stories either way. 1

Take some reading comprehension classes, will you, because you’re continuously missing the point of my original post, which I’m gonna spell out now again and for the final time: the Spaniard completely and utterly failed his mission of keeping his and his family’s “reputation” intact. As a matter of fact, he ruined it way worse than what the murder victim could’ve done, AND he should’ve gone to the cops after the blackmail attempt instead of taking matters into his own hands and by that <deleted> up his own and his family members’ lives in the process! If that is jumping to conclusions in your book, then hey, I guess I’ve jumped to conclusions! SMH!!! 1
BangkokHank Posted August 10, 2023 Posted August 10, 2023 I just thought of a brilliant legal strategy for the Spaniard, one that a Thai judge would certainly be able to relate to: "Do you know who my father is?!" I should have been a lawyer. 1
