The foreigner was well within his rights here.

The thai police were being too heavy handed ????

BS.

There is NO right for anyone to threaten and assault ANY person.

I admire the restraint that the police showed. Sadly the other 2 police did not come up from behind him and either trip him and kneecap him with their batons, or just break his arm and then arrest him.

In many airports in the west he would simply have been shot.

If you threaten and assault a policeman you deserve everything you get.

I lived in China many years and never had a problem. Everyone was very nice.

I guess any country struggling with people who are new rich, not to mention any other nations, but there are a few remarkable simular happendings where they believe they can do whatever they want.

Never had any incidents on my trips to China either, and was always treated with respect. But new rich, creates a new breed for sure. Our main sponsors for one event, started to hand out expensive aged wine at 3 o'clock in the night and we all drinked it from the bottles like beer.

I have also witnessed chineese at restaurants treating the staff like dogs, shouting and talking bad to them in the view of the whole restaurant, only seen Russians do the same in Thailand and a few arabs at a hotel doing the same to the staff there.

Overall not seen to much trouble outsiden the red light districts, except from what mentioned above.

So basically the guy speaks Korean and there is one guy in this post who criticize Chinese people... Another EXPERT!
Honestly speaking, in most post, there are people who come up with their hate of others. Chinese, Russian, Muslims. Guys, why don't you just make your jokes without insulting others?

For eons jokes have been about others.???? That's what some humour is based on?

If the joke is simply based on a guy down the street it doesn't always work.

How does a joke about a 106 year old dead guy called Miles from Dublin work if the guy is French?

Those police showed remarkable restraint.

They showed restraint because it was in open view of the public in the airport which was a smart way to not escalate it.  I wouldn't want to be that guy when they got to the police station or out of public view.

Grow up, anyone over 9yrs old on a skateboard needs treatment ????????????

Notice the two little boys watching on in the video?  The skateboard may have been theirs and the man attacking the cops may be their father.  Likely scenario - the kids were causing mayhem with the skateboard and the cops intervened, which in turn set the father off.

In a USA airport he would have been tasered by all of the security guards instantly and dragged off to a jail cell. That's if he was lucky! There's a high probability one of the guards would pull his pistol and filled him with holes.

Bs,  there isn't any way they would have shot him in an airport. just tasered him or overwhelmed him. Other than the skateboard he was no real threat

1. Good to see other 2 officers “helping”

2. If this was in US he would of been shot

3. if this was in other less violent countries , he would if been tasered in the spot

No, in the US he wouldn't have been shot, he would've been been tackled and cuffed by two or 3 officers immediately, or if there was only one officer, he would've been tasered, then cuffed.

You clearly have some immature biases about the US.

Exactly. Same in the UK and most countries. There were opportunities after he swung his skateboard to just walk forward and restrain him but they did nothing. Must be a "VIP".

There are professional pogo stick competitors too - doesn't mean grown men should go around pogo sticking.

Skateboarding is in the Olympics. It's actually a very difficult sport, that teaches the person doing it a lot of mental strength as well as the physical upshots.

he should be arrested for wearing those shorts at the airport

He lost his Speedos at the hotel.  ... next best option to let everyone know just how much of an inconsiderate, entitled nut job he is, is to wear swim shorts, steal a hat from the airport sovegneir store and carry a skateboard onto the plane.
