Bang Chan police apprehended 9 individuals of various nationalities in a chaotic drug-fueled party within an upscale urban enclave, responding to repeated complaints by disgruntled locals.

On August 12th, Lt. Sivawat Sriwichai, head of Bang Chan police, led officers to detain 9 foreign nationals, including Malaysians, Chinese, and Vietnamese, involved in drug-related activities, reported Daily News.

Seized items included Ketamine in wooden trays weighing 1 gram, crystalline Ketamine in resealable plastic bags weighing 1.71 grams, and 24 ecstasy pills, along with a firearm and 8 rounds of 9mm ammunition.

They are collectively charged with possession of substances affecting the mind and nerves (Ketamine and ecstasy), illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, and residing in Thailand without permission.

The arrest took place in a lavish residence within Bangkok's Life Bang Kapi Village, Kanjanapisek Road, Tapphanchang Sub-District, Saphan Sung District.

The police were alerted by emergency hotline 191 about the ongoing drug-infused party. The suspects were caught red-handed while partying loudly, prompting a search that uncovered the illicit substances and weapons.

The legality of their residence will also be scrutinized before their case proceeds with investigations by Bang Chan police.
