Some people like it, I understand prostitution will always have it's supporters, but don't pretend the place would be what it is without it.

Indeed, as I've always said on those lines, "Pattaya was built on the backs of girls and boys".

Perhaps they need to erect a warning sign at the approaches to Pattaya saying " WARNING, SEX HAPPENS PAST THIS POINT. WOWSERS DON'T ENTER TO AVOID OFFENSE".

I have nothing to do with religion, please explain how being anti prostitution, which is of course illegal, is either hatred or dangerous. You cannot can you, all you do is post childish attacks and accusations against anyone who disagrees with what you get up to in bars and brothels, if anyone hates women it's those participating in the sex industry, not those avoiding it. Laughable that mongers often don't realise that the girls actually hate their customers and what they do.

Just ignore the troll ... easier.

Agree, has nothing to do with religion, as some folks, like myself, Atheist, just isn't interested in the P4P industry, or have any use for it.  Fun people watching, at times.

I'm certainly not anti-self employment, as actually a big fan of it, and respect their choice.  Do agree many hate the work/customers, but love the pay.  Pretty much my opinion of most of my salaried jobs.  Then surely others, quite enjoy the work & the pay.

I wish I got paid for sex and if lucky, they get to pick their customers, or at least charge silly price to tolerate the rest.

it has nothing to do with "religion", but you are sort of proselytizing.

maybe stop trying too hard to convert others.

express your opinions, then leave people alone.

if you push too much, you're just seen as a "preacher".

you're entitled to your opinions, and there is some validity in being repulsed by the whole industry.

Can't fault this. But it's true of most jobs. What's the diff between a buyer and seller? The seller has to wait UNTIL AFTER HE HANGS UP to call the buyer an idiot. The buyer can do it right on the phone. He's the buyer, after all.

I like this poster in general, and partic on the politics branch. I do wonder about his motivation, akin to bothering slot machine users in the casino to remind them that they're wasting their money. But in a forum about life in Thailand, it's fine.

Best friend is god.

What I've always wonder about him is that some say he is omnipresent. Is he in fact everywhere at once or is he like an old fashioned TV screen. In that he is only in in one place at one time but he moves so fast and spends so little time in one place that he appears to be everywhere at once.

Prostitution is not illegal in all countries.

Anyone that states that the "girls" hate their customers IMO doesn't have a clue, and been reading too many British red top papers.

Can we save that for the God thread? It's off topic as well.

Some fall in love. Some get married.

That's not creepy ... do you stare at them, hoping they will ?

Do you try to initiate eye contact with Thai men also ?

Never said it was creepy ! I said it was strange ! Bigggg difference!

Where I live falangs are very rare and when you pass by falangs  at common locations you look at them to say hello , if they dont glance as they walk by then they dont care to say hello!
I dont look at Thai guys cause they are the people of Thailand !Falangs aren’t!!
