Pattaya is full of pussy already, now we have some Russian pussies joining the fray?

Go back home and make a difference - protest, fight back, do something.

"with a couple of thousand dollars in savings, and a one-way ticket to Thailand".. and what visa allows a "one way" ticket ? with a couple of thousands in savings ?

Russians don't need any visa to enter Thailand.

2017 Gallup International poll, favorable views of Putin by country:  Thailand @ 43%.

Gosh....did the Thai's actually know where the Crimea ....or the rest of Ukraine was?

Hate to say it, but the longer this war goes the more it favors Russia--

As for them buying properties, do they mean houses as well as apartments? Funny how they can buy but everyone else has to either put in a company name or put in their (Thai) wife’s name.

"Funny how they can buy...".

They can't.  Russians are not exempt from those requirements, either, as you suggested.

I'm sure agents have been helping those with limited funds, others have the money to stay.

The article clearly states that they come with two thousand dollars. How can you live on this money and give a commission to an agent?

The article, clearly, does not state that.  It does state, clearly, that he came with $2,000, not everyone...

"He travelled to the airport in Moscow, with a couple of thousand dollars in savings..."   The article also states how he gets income but, I guess, reading that part, also, takes too much effort?

I thought you needed at least 800 thousand tbt in your account not a cpl of thousand I presume Rubles

Why did you assume Rubles?  He came with USD2,000, as the article clearly stated.  He did not come to retire...VE does not require anything in the bank.

A majority supported Putin's 2014 invasion of Ukraine's Crimea and support actually increased when Putin invaded Ukraine in 2022 with over 80% in July 2023.

2017 Gallup International poll, favorable views of Putin by country:  Thailand @ 43%.

How can you possibly believe the July 2023 poll? Hun Sen's landslide victory ring a bell? Are you a Putin supporter? Why aren't you out there fighting?

Same goes for visa issuing authority, if you have applied. They don't look at your entry eligibility. The airlines can refuse a boarding pass if you don't meet the destination country's arrival requirements. And you can be turned back by immigration even though you have a valid visa/entry permit.

So who's the Mr Sad hanging around this thread? Can't you put it into words?

$2,000 is a typical travel expense. This means that the tourist will leave in a month (back to bloodthirsty Russia ????). As always, the information is turned upside down LOL.

Read the whole article in the Guardian. It answers all your questions.

yeah, read yesterday that Putin has now increased the draft available men to age 70 after scrapping of the original draft law exempting those over 40 with no upper limit.

"Russia's parliament has voted to raise the maximum age at which men can be conscripted to 30 from 27, increasing the number of young men liable for a year of compulsory military service.Jul 26, 2566 BE"

Its ok, I understand that they don't wanna fight for that sick bastard Putin. But please just stay at Phuket and don't move to other parts of Thailand. Thanks.

We see lots of Ruskies in our drives here and there but thankfully we don't have them living, and drinking themselves to stupidity with vodka (a national pastime it seems) in our estate.

There are lots buying (so one of the higher end agents in Bang Tao tell us) but not at our end of the market.

'Finding a home in Phuket' meaning what? Where they offered permanent resident status?
